Forest Pansy Cercis is a stunning, small ornamental tree growing to a height of 5m tall. In Spring clusters of small rose flowers cover the tree followed by shiny reddish purple, heart shaped leaves. In Summer the older, more sheltered foliage will harden off to a deep green creating a contrast with the vibrant new growth.

Commonly used as a feature tree, fence line screening, or just to add a splash of colour amongst your garden.

Water: Water well to establish root system and benefits from a good drink in summer.

Sun: Will thrive in a full sun to part shade position.

Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil. Mulch around trunk in summer to protect nutrients and water.
